Kim (Hayes) Jones was a 2003 graduate of the College of St. Catherine and left as one of the most decorated members of the hockey program. Jones currently holds the top-spot in career points (151) and career assists (75). In her first year as a Wildcat, Jones tallied a St. Kate’s-record 35 assists in a season and 63 total points, earning her All-MIAC Honorable Mention, an honor she earned twice in her career. She was also an All-MIAC pick twice and finished at or near the top of numerous scoring categories.  Jones ranked in the top-10 of conference offensive statistics eight times during her career.
 
Jones’ remarkable career as a Wildcat was highlighted by her leadership skills and passion for hockey, which earned her duties as captain for three seasons. She was also named the St. Kate’s Rookie of the Year and ranks in the top-three all-time in Wildcats history in every season and career scoring category. These categories include points, goals, assists, game-winning goals, power play goals, short-handed goals, plus-minus and hat tricks.
