ST. PAUL, MINN. – It's another busy weekend for the St. Catherine University soccer and volleyball teams. Both teams play key Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) opponents Saturday afternoon, as the soccer team hosts Saint Mary's University at 1 p.m. in St. Paul, Minnesota while volleyball takes on Gustavus Adolphus College at 3 p.m. in St. Peter.
Both games will be broadcasted online through a multitude of platforms. Fans who can't make it to St. Paul can tune into St. Kate's soccer game via

Here are the five facts to know before Saturday's big games:
3 – Three different Wildcats scored their first goals of the season in St. Kate's soccer's 3-3 draw against Carleton on Wednesday.
Gabi Fettig (Farmington, Minn. / Farmington),
Molly Hayes (South St. Paul, Minn. / South St. Paul) and
Brittany Kollman (Fergus Falls, Minn. / Kennedy Secondary) all scored during regulation to help the Wildcats earn one point in the MIAC standings.
11 – Gustavus was ranked No. 11 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) poll, which was released earlier this week. This season, the Gusties are 14-3 overall and hold a 3-1 mark in MIAC play.
5 – Last season, St. Kate's scored five goals in a 5-0 win against Saint Mary's last season. Kollman scored two goals during the game, while
Kaitlin Machovec (Woodbury, Minn. / North St. Paul) and then seniors
Julia Zyla (Inver Grove Heights, Minn. / Trinity) and
Kelly Molitor (Lakeville, Minn. / Lakeville South) scored the other two.
Jessica Perez-Adame (San Jacinto, Calif. / San Jacinto) also earned the first shutout of her career with six saves in 90 minutes of play.
3-1 – Last season, the Wildcats were one of just six MIAC teams to win a set against the nationally ranked Gusties. After losing the first two sets by scores of 25-16 and 25-19, St. Kate's forced a fourth set by taking set three 25-21. The Gusties went on to win the fourth set 25-15, but not before
Hannah Flatness (Elk Mound, Wis. / Elk Mound) tallied a then career high 14 kills against the eventual MIAC Playoff Champion.
3 – The Wildcats have played in three double overtime games this season, posting a 0-1-2 record. In fact, the team's only loss came in the final four minutes of the second overtime period, when St. Kate's lost to La Verne by a final score of 2-1.
