What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Catherine?: We stand on the shoulders of the giants that lead before us and work hard, continue the passion, and upload the legacy that those before us made.

Ā I chose to attend St. Kate's because:Ā I wanted my education to be top priority and I knew St. Kate's would give me everything I needed to be successful after college. It also meant I got to join a family of Wildcat's that truly make St. Kate's amazing and the best place to be.

2017:Ā Hayes appeared in 20 games in her junior season with the Wildcats and started 18. She had two goals, two assists and 20 shots for a shot percentage of .100 and six points total. Rookie of the Year, Unsung hero and earned Fleur De Lis Award.Ā 

2016: In her second season with St. Kate's, Hayes played in 18 games and made six starts. She scored her first and only goal of the season in the Wildcats 5-1 win over Minnesota-Morris on September 1.Ā 

2015: In her first season as a Wildcat, Hayes played in all 19 games. She recorded three points which was eighth-most on the team. Her first collegiate goal was a game-winner over nationally-ranked UW-La Crosse on Oct. 21. Ā

High School: HayesĀ lettered for two years at South St Paul. As a senior, she helped the Packers reach the section finals while being named All-Conference Honorable Mention. Hayes was an honor roll student and also lettered in academics, weightlifting and key club.

Personal: Hayes chose St. Kate's to challenge herself academically. She also wanted the opportunity to receive a good education and play soccer. She plans to major in exercise and sport science. Hayes is the daughter of Steve and Jayne Hayes.
