I'm proud to be a Wildcat because: It has made me a better leader, a more confident person, and has pushed me in ways I never thought possible. Being a wildcat has transformed me into the person I am today and I am extremely grateful for all the program has done for me. Ā 

What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Catherine?:Ā  Being a student-athlete forces you to be the best you can be both academically and athletically. It has helped me with time management, teamwork, and communication. I have had to make crazy schedules match up and get everything done in a timely manner. The immediate friends and connections I have made and forcing myself to be the best student I can be and the best athlete I can be.Ā 

I chose to attend St. Kate's because:Ā of the safe and welcoming environment I felt when I visited. The soccer team was more than welcoming and I fell in love with the culture and family atmosphere. The campus is beautiful and close to home and had everything I was looking for in a school.

2017: MachovecĀ appeared in 19 games for in Wildcats as a junior starting 14. MachovecĀ had five goals, three assists and 55 shots. In total, she had 13 points and one game-winning goal. She earned MIACĀ All-Conference Honorable mention.

2016: As a sophomore, Machovec played in 19 games and started 18 for St. Kate's. She earned All-Conference Honorable Mention honors afterĀ second on the team in goals (7) and points (20) and was tied for first with Okerstrom for assists (6). She finished the season tied for fifth in the MIAC in goals (6), points (15) and shots (39) against conference opponents.

2015: In her first as a Wildcat, Machovec played in 13 games making six starts. She recorded one assist and nine shots.Ā 

Academic Honors/ Involvement:
Dean's List: Fall 15, Spring 16, Fall 16, Spring 17, Fall 17, Spring 18.Ā 

High School:Ā Machovec lettered four times for the Polars and helped lead the team to a 11-3-1 record her senior year. During her career, she was named All-Conference Honorable Mention twice, All-Conference, Hardest Worker and Defensive Player of the Year. Off the field, Machovec was an honor roll student and participated in highway cleanup and volunteering.Ā 

Personal:Ā Exercise and Sport Science Major, Psychology Major...Machovec is the daughter of Sue and Mike Machovec.Ā
