For the strong start to her season, sophomore Kelsey Nistler has been named Wildcat Athlete of the Week. Nistler has scored four goals in the past three games, and helped the Wildcat soccer team get off to a 3-1-1 start overall. Kelsey scored twice against Central College helping lead the Wildcats to a commanding 7-0 victory. Four days later she scored twice against St. Mary's University as the Wildcats opened MIAC play with a 3-0 victory. After five games this year Nistler is seventh in the MIAC with four goals scored, eighth with a 1.80 points per game average, and she leads the conference with two game winning goals.

Kelsey is an accounting major at St. Kate's. She is the daughter of Tom and Joan Nistler.
