Volleyball player Brittni Wangerin, a junior, was chosen as the Wildcat Athlete of the Week after her outstanding performance at the UW Superior's Stinger Tournament this past weekend. Wangerin was named to the All-Tournament team.
Wangerin was a great attacker for the Wildcats this weekend, accumulating 37 kills for the two games. She also had 30 digs, 2 block assists, and 1 service ace. Wangerin was a key player in the Wildcat's successful 4-0 weekend.
The Wildcat's face St. Olaf for their final home game on Wednesday, October 19th at 7pm. The volleyball team will also be honoring their senior players.
