First year hockey goalie Samantha Geissler has been named Athlete of the Week. Geissler's fantastic performance in the net helped the Wildcats clinch a 3-1 win against the Tommies on Saturday. She stopped an impressive 36 out of 37 shots on goal. 

This was a huge win for St. Kate's as the Conference playoffs are quickly approaching. The Wildcats hope to keep the momentum going as they take on Hamline University this weekend.
