Kasey Evans has been selected as the Athlete of the Week after scoring back to back hat tricks in hockey's first two games of the season. Evans, a first year forward, started off her collegiate hockey career with a bang, helping the Wildcats secure their first two wins.
Evan's offensive prowess proved indispensable on Friday and Saturday as she led the Wildcats' scoring attack. On Saturday, Kasey made use of several power plays, scoring two power play goals. She leads the team in scoring so far this season.
St. Kate's takes on Augsburg College this weekend, playing on their home ice at Ridder Arena on Friday and traveling to Augsburg on Saturday.
