The senior captian, Machovec has an impressive week with two game-winning goals on the week to add to her season total of four. Machovec put one in against Viterbo on Tuesday, October 16 in the 5-1 win at home and again against Gustavus Adolphus on Saturday, October 20. In the conference game Saturday, Machovec’s winning goal led the team to a 2-1 victory to secure the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) playoff berth for the fourth consecutive year and best overall program finish at this point in the season. Machovec currently ranks fourth in the conference for game-winning goals this season with four total.
