ST. PAUL, Minn. -- St. Catherine University volleyball coach,
Todd Nelson, announced the addition of
Tori Everson to the Wildcat volleyball coaching staff for the 2025 season. Everson comes to St. Kate's from The Blake School where she served as the head girls' varsity coach since 2023.
"We are very excited for Tori to join our Wildcat Volleyball program", noted Nelson. "Tori's experience, both as an athlete and as a coach will be a valuable asset to our program." Everson joins Nelson and assistant coach
Joe Baker, now in his fifth year with the program, taking over for Kaitlyn Bakke who left St. Kate's in the spring to pursue a professional career in marketing.
Everson began her coaching career in 2017, and has since held roles with several competitive programs, including MACA JO Volleyball (2017–2020), Fusion Volleyball (2020–2021), and Crossfire Volleyball (2022–present). She joined The Blake School in 2022 as an Assistant Varsity Coach and served as Head Varsity Coach from 2023 to 2025.
A standout athlete at Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg High School, Everson was a three-time All-Conference honoree and team captain in 2017. She continued her playing career at the University of Minnesota Morris, where she was team captain in 2021, a two-time All-Conference selection, an NCAA DIII Tournament participant, and a Cougar Excellence Award recipient.
