ST. PAUL, Minn. -- St. Catherine University volleyball announces their spring volleyball clinics schedule all hosted inside of Butler Center.

Setting and Attacking Clinic - Sunday, March 1 - 6:00-8:00pm 
Setters and Hitters will be able to work on their position specific skills, then brought together to practice those skills with one another in more game-like situations. Setters will work on footwork, hand position, balance, and release in order to deliver consistently accurate and well-tempo'd sets for their hitters. Hitters will be given the opportunity to work as Outside, Middle and/or Right-Side attackers. Each position will work on footwork, approach patterns, balance, arm swing, hand contact, and learning how to score.

Blocking and Defense Clinic - Sunday, March 29 - 6:00-8:00pm 
This clinic will cover all aspects of blocking including eye-sequencing, footwork, lining up with attackers, handwork, and transition to attack.  The clinic will also help improve the skills of all defenders.  Defenders will work on reading the attacker, movement patterns, defensive posture, and digging balls to target, and safely executing emergency defensive moves.
