NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. -- The St. Catherine University golf team concluded another historic season claiming the universities best team finish at an NCAA Championship. The Wildcats claimed a fifth place finish with a 1212 team score led by junior All-American
Kyra Venne. Venne was plus seven after 72 holes to finish seventh as an individual, again the best finish from a St. Kate's golfer at the national championship.
On the final day of play, Venne was one over par shooting 73 carding an identical round to rookie
Grace Petzold. Petzold was the Wildcats second finisher shooting 303 after 72 holes to tie for 22nd place overall. Behind Petzold was fellow first-year
Macey Martin who concluded an outstanding spring campaign with an overall 306 shooting 75 (+3) on day four and landed her tied for 33rd.

Morgan Anderson finished her first time competing in the NCAA championships with a 72-hole score of 315 shooting 80 (+8) on day four and senior
Jaycee Rhodes completed her third appearance shooting 78 (+6) for an overall 328. Anderson's four-day score placed her tied for 58th while Rhodes was tied for 72nd.
