2023-24: In her rookie season, Petzold appeared in 25 rounds with the second-lowest stroke average on the team at 76.7 and was third overall in the MIAC. Petzold recorded a low round of 72 twice during the season, first at the Wartburg Fall Invite and again in the third round of the NCAA Women's Golf Championship. She finished the MIAC Women's Golf Championship T4 shooting a three round score of 234 (+18) and was T22 at the conclusion of the NCAA Championship shooting 303 (+15) helping the team to a fifth-place finish.

High School: 2023 Minnesota State High School League State Champion, 2023 All-State selection, 4x section champion, 2023 Academic All-State, competed in the MSHSL Championships five times while playing third overall in 2021. Three-time golf team captain earning two academic letters and graduating with honors from Providence Academy. 

Personal: Daughter of Mark and Ashley Petzold. Psychology major with a minor in Spanish.

What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Kate's? I love being a part of a community that is so supportive of each other and which is always pushing each other athletically and academically. 

I chose St. Catherine University because: I loved the opportunity to be a part of such a competitive team with such an amazing atmosphere. I love the team, the coach, and the location of St. Kate’s.
