FARIBAULT, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University golf team recorded their lowest team round of the spring with a 299 (+11) to finish second behind Carleton after round two of the St. Olaf/Carleton Spring Invite. The No. 37 ranked Wildcats carded the lowest team round of the day led by senior
Lolla Magrann with the lowest individual round of the day carding a career best round of 72.
Sophomore
Caylin Cantwell shaved six strokes from round one carding a two over par 74 to finish 4th individually. Magrann improved by eleven strokes to finish fifth overall with a two day score of 154 (+11).
Just behind Magrann was
Raquel Ahrens improving by four strokes from Saturday shooting 76 (+4) and tied for 8th while
Arivia DeBoer improved by three strokes with a 36-hole score of 157 in 11th place.
Emma Dobbins finished day two shooting 78 (+6), good for T16 as
Sydney Dodds repeated her round of 84 to finish T26th.
Kali Hanson was the final golfer for St. Kate's improving two strokes on Sunday for a two-day round of 177 in 36th.
St. Kate's closes out the season next weekend in the Carleton/St. Kate's Spring Invite May 2 and 3. The first round will be at Hasting Country Club followed by round two at The Jewel in Lake City.
