NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. -- The St. Catherine University golf team improved again after round three moving into seventh place as a team as junior
Kyra Venne who remains tied for seventh as an individual. Venne and the rest of the Wildcats dropped five strokes in the third round for a team score of 299. St. Kate's is one stroke behind Claremont Mudd Scripps and Illinois Wesleyan who are tied for fifth and just five strokes behind the fourth place team, Redlands.
First-year
Grace Petzold carded the team's low score in round three with an even par 72 to move to T30. Junior
Morgan Anderson dropped nine strokes from round two shooting 74 (+2) Thursday afternoon. Anderson was one stroke ahead of Venne who carded a three over par 75 with four birdies.
Macey Martin followed with a round of 78 (+6) and is tied for 36th place as an individual. Senior
Jaycee Rhodes completed the round shooting 88 (+16) and is 76th overall.
Rhodes is off the tee first for the Wildcats in the final round with a start time of 8 am ET. Rhodes will be followed by Anderson, Martin, Petzold and the team wraps up with Venne at 8:40 am ET.
