HUDSON, Wis. -- The St. Catherine University golf team secured a second place finish in a field of Division II teams with an overall 36-hole score of 628. The Wildcats were led by junior
Kyra Venne finishing fourth as an individual.
The second round challenged Venne finishing the day with an 83 (+12) with an overall round of 153 (+11).
Paige Hillman felt the reverse effect shaving eight strokes from her first round to card a three over par 74 and finish tied for sixth as an individual. Hillman was tied with the Wildcats' individual,
Morgan Anderson finishing the round with a 78 (+7) again on day two.
First-year
Grace Petzold carded an 81 (+10) to finish tied for ninth and senior
Jaycee Rhodes made up the final team score shooting 85 (+14) on Tuesday to finish tied for 23rd.
Individual golfer,
Emma Almquist improved three strokes from the first day to finish tied for 18th while senior
Katie Reeves improved her round by nine strokes shooting 83 (+12).
The Wildcats compete on Saturday in the St. Kate's Fall Invite with the first round at Eagle Valley Golf Course in Woodbury, Minnesota.
