ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Catherine track & field team traveled to Concordia University, St. Paul on Saturday securing one program record along with six PR finishes.
Senior
Reilee Schepper set a program record in the triple jump finishing as the runner up with a mark of 11.12m. First-year
Burnices Barlue finished seventh in the event with a PR mark of 10.89m as senior
Bryana Leverentz also secured a PR jumping 10.36m in ninth. Leverentz appeared in the javelin throw finishing third with a mark of 35.60m.
Four Wildcats appeared in the long jump led by sophomore
Gabby Bodin finishing 12th with a mark of 4.97m. Schepper jumped 4.82m, good for 17th and junior
Claire Nichols was just behind in 19th jumping 4.78m.
Maclairen Strong was the final Wildcat in the event finishing with a mark of 3.68m in 36th.
Senior
Lauren Isaacson appeared in the discus with a mark of 38.11m in seventh and also in the shot put coming in eleventh at 11.20m. Rookie
Abby Althoff was 33rd throwing 8.66m just ahead of junior
Lydia Wehrspann in 34th throwing 8.65m and senior
Kennedy Johnson in 35th at 8.12m. In the hammer throw, Wehrspann cleared 27.43m to finishing 32nd.
On the track, Bodin made finals in the 100m hurdles event finishing fifth with a PR finish of 15.18. Rookie
Madi Genz recorded a PR finish in the 100m dash with a time of 12.77 and sophomore
Erin Doyle tallied a PR in the 400m dash at 1:06.12.
St. Kate's will travel to Macalester next Saturday for the Janis Rider Invite on April 30.
