ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University track & field team competed in the Hamline Invite on Monday afternoon recording four personal best performances along with several debuts from the teams rookie class.
On the track, Miranda Kerdnt turned in a personal-best performance in the 800m, finishing in 3:02.04. In the 5000m, the Wildcats were led by
Eleanor Lindeman placed tenth with a time of 18:41.21, the fifth best time in program history. Fellow rookie,
Lydia Feldhahn also delivered a standout effort, recording a personal best of 19:22.51 to finish 19th.
In the field events,
Kristin Siebsen cleared a personal-best 1.30m in the high jump to place 11th, while
Alehsha Rentz competed in both throwing events, notching a personal best in the shot put with a mark of 9.86m and adding a 27.03m throw in the hammer.
Also contributing in the throws, Lillian Sembello recorded a debut mark of 13.93m in the javelin throw.
St. Kate's will return to competition on Saturday, April 11 traveling to Arden Hills for the Gene Glader Classic hosted by Bethel University.
