NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University track & field team appeared in three events on day one of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) hosted at St. Olaf College in Northfield.
Junior
Kaitlyn Peterson appeared in all three, starting with the 800m preliminary trials finishing with a time of 2:30.40. She followed with the 1500m event clocking a time of 5:19.08.
The day concluded for the Wildcats with the 4x800 as
Mist Sit, Peterson,
Lauren Kennedy, and
Felicity Lamb finished 11th with a time of 10:45.16, the fastest from a Wildcats relay team since 2022.
St. Kate's returns to the championship event on Saturday with
Maggie Lewandowski competing in the hammer throw at 12 pm.
Eleanor Lindeman is in the steeplechase at 1:55 pm and will also compete in the 5000m with Lindeman along with
Lydia Feldhahn scheduled for 4:20 pm.
