COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. -- St. Catherine University track & field turned in several solid performances on Saturday at Saint John's for the outdoor season opener
The Wildcats were led by junior Kaitlyn Peterson, who posted personal-best times in both the 800-meter and 1500-meter races. Peterson placed 12th in the 800 meters with a new PR of 2:29.76, then came back to finish 23rd in the 1500 meters in another personal-best mark of 5:15.34.
Mist Sit also competed in both middle-distance events, taking 18th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:39.49 and 34th in the 1500 meters in with a PR of 5:23.21.
Felicity Lamb added a 26th-place finish in the 800 meters at 2:51.17 and placed 58th in the 1500 meters with a time of 5:57.84, while Lauren Kennedy recorded a 53rd-place finish in the 1500 meters in 5:43.93.
The Wildcats will compete again on Monday, March 30 at the Hamline Invite with events starting at 3 pm at Klas Field in St. Paul.
