St. Kate's senior forward Cassie Rooney has been named MIAC Athlete-of-the-Week for her efforts this past Friday. In the Wildcats first game against Concordia Rooney had three goals as St. Kate's upset #9 Concordia 4-3 on their home ice. Included in her hat trick, Rooney scored the game tying and game winning goals. The MIAC release of the award is available here.
