Hockey drops a tough one in OT to Bethel 2-1

After a scoreless first period, St. Kate's grabbed the lead midway through the second period on a Michaela Michaelson power play goal, assisted by Kelsey Abrahamson.

At 7:11 in the third period, Bethel would tie it up on an even strength goal. The teams remained knotted at 1 apiece through the end of regulation,

At the 5:00 mark in the overtime period Bethel would find the net to hand St. Kate's a crushing 2-1 defeat. 

32 of the Wildcats 39 shots on goal came in the first two periods, and they failed to get a shot off in overtime.  SCU is back on the ice Friday night at Ridder Arena when they take on Concordia College.
