Although the Wildcats out shot the Cardinals 41-24, the scoreboard wasn't as kind as the women suffer their first loss of conference play Saturday afternoon at Ridder Arena.  SCU controlled the puck for much of the first period, but couldn't get the puck in the net to get them started.

St. Mary's scored first midway through the first period and never looked back, blanking St. Kate's 4-0.  The Cardinals scored two in the second and one in the third period.  Four different Cardinals scored on the night.

The Wildcats look to regroup before taking the ice again Saturday, December 11th in an away game against the University of Wisconsin River Falls.
