Abby Conzemius (Chanhassen, MInn.) has been the snapshot of consistency for the St. Catherine University golft team this fall. The first-year has averaged 83.70 stroke per round to lead the Wildcats to a historic fall. And her performance this weekend at the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Championships was no exception, which has earned her Wildcat Athlete of the Week honors. 

The Wildcats had their best team performance in the three-year history of the program when they collectively dropped 80 strokes from a year ago to finish ninth with a score of 1033 (+169). Leading the Wildcats on the path to success was Conzemius. She turned in two consecutive rounds of 83 on the first two days to put herself in position for a top-20 finish. Monday, during the final round of competition, Conzemius used a score of 84 to seal her third top-20 finish of the season. 

Not only did Conzemius finish as the top Wildcat, she marked her place in the record books with a final score of 250 to finish 18th overall. Her performance is the best by any Wildcat at the MIAC Championships in three years and is 12 strokes better than previous-best individual score at the event set by Miranda McKeeth in the team's inaugural season in 2011. Conzemius finishes the fall as the top golfer for the Wildcats with an average of 83.70. 

Conzemius and the Wildcats will return to action in the spring for the remainder of their season.
