NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The 2026 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships are set to begin on Friday. Six Wildcats will compete in the championship Friday-Saturday at the Carleton College Recreation Center in Northfield.
The MIAC Indoor Track & Field Championships are set to begin on Thursday with the multi-event competitions. The women's pentathlon starts at 2:00 p.m. with the men's heptathlon beginning 20 minutes later. The final heptathlon events begin on Friday at 10:00 a.m.
Friday's schedule for the Wildcats includes junior
Kaitlyn Peterson in the 800-meter run followed by the 5K which includes first-year
Eleanor Lindeman and
Lydia Feldhahn. The evening closes out with the women's distance medley relay where
Mist Sit, Peterson,
Lilly Sembello, and
Felicity Lamb will compete for St. Kate's. On Saturday, Feldhahn and Lindeman compete again in the 3K.
FOLLOW THE ACTION
Daily tickets are required to attend the MIAC Indoor Track & Field Championships. All tickets will be sold and purchased online via HomeTown Ticketing.
There will not be cash sales at the venue; however, spectators can purchase tickets using a mobile device at any time, including while at the venue. Tickets are available for purchase on the
MIAC's HomeTown Ticketing site.
Single-day adult tickets will be $13, and student tickets are $4. (Note: additional HomeTown Ticketing convenience and credit card fees will be added during checkout, with estimated totals being $13.70 for adult / $4.43 for student per single-day ticket.) Children ages five and under do not require a ticket. Those eligible for student tickets include individuals currently enrolled in college, high school, middle school, and elementary school. Student ID is required where applicable.
No ticket will be required for Thursday afternoon's pentathlon and heptathlon events. However, tickets will be required for the full days of competition on Friday and Saturday.
Spectators traveling to Northfield are encouraged to review the
campus parking map.
Fans unable to attend in person will be able to follow the action with live updates via
Fast Finish Results. Select track events will also be streamed live on the
MIAC Sports Network. Select field events will be streamed on the

HANDING OUT THE HARDWARE
The MIAC championship trophies will be presented to the first-place women's and men's teams at the conclusion of the meet on Saturday afternoon. Bethel University has swept both the men's and women's championships each of the last three seasons.
The top three finishers in each event automatically earn All-Conference honors, and the 4th-through-6th place finishers will receive Honorable Mention distinction.
Individual awards will be voted on by coaches following the meet and will be announced - along with the complete list of All-Conference and honorable mention recipients - next week.
AROUND THE MIAC
Augsburg senior
Allison Hookom (Anoka, Minn. / Anoka) set a meet record in the women's 400-meter dash at the Vanessa Seljeskog Classic on 1/24. Hookom won the 400 in a 58.26, clearing the field by seven-tenths of a second. She also recorded an 8.36-second time in the women's 60-meter dash.
Bethel senior
Anna Speratos (Farmington, Minn. / Farmington) claimed the weight throw title at the Tostrud Classic on 2/20 with a MIAC-record toss of 17.98 meters (59' 0"). That distance ranks fifth in NCAA Division III this season.
Carleton first-year
Lauren Tittel (Sherwood, Ore. / Oregon Episcopal School) was the runner-up in the women's 3000-meter at the Mark Schuck Open on 1/30. Tittle crossed the line at 9:58.45, tops in the MIAC this season. Tittel's time moved her into the No. 10 spot in program history.
Concordia senior
Kyla Nygaard (Maple Grove, Minn. / Maple Grove) ran the fastest 800-meter time in the MIAC this season at the SDSU Indoor Classic on 2/13. Nygaard crossed the finish line in 2:12.99 while competing against runners from NCAA Division I and Division II programs. Her time ranks No. 17 in NCAA Division III this season.
Gustavus senior
Molly Liston (Richfield, Minn. / The Blake School) set a new program record in the 3K at the Meet of Hearts on 2/14, finishing the race in 10:06.88. Her time of 10:16.66 in the event at the Vanessa Seljeskog Classic on 1/24 surpassed the previous meet record by nearly 30 seconds.
Hamline senior
Lexi Brainer (Lakeville, Minn. / Lakeville South) broke the all-time MIAC record in the women's weight throw with a distance of 17.71 meters (58' 1.25") at the Jack Johnson Classic on 1/30. The previous conference record of 17.66 meters had stood for over a quarter of a century. Brainer's MIAC mark lasted less than a month before being broken by Bethel's
Anna Speratos, though her distance remains the Hamline program record.
Macalester sophomore
Ariella Rogahn-Press (Albuquerque, N.M. / Bosque School) broke the program record in the 400 meters at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational on 2/6 with a then-Division III-leading time of 54.60. That time surpassed her previous school record of 55.97, set in the prelims of last year's NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Saint Benedict junior
Sabriya Farquharson (Nassau, Bahamas / Saint Augustine's College) won a pair of events to help the Bennies secure the team title at the CSB/SJU Valentine's Day Open on 2/14. Farquharson placed first in the triple jump with a season-best mark of 11.30 meters (37' 1"), as well as in the long jump with a distance of 5.48 meters (17' 11.75").
St. Catherine first-year
Eleanor Lindeman (St. Louis Park, Minn. / St. Louis Park) has set collegiate PRs in four different events over her last three meets. She ran the 5K in 18:40.38 at the Mark Schuck Open on 1/31, finished the 800 in 2:31.90 and mile in 5:23.72 at the Gopher Classic on 2/7, and ran the 3K in 10:38.92 at the Meet of Hearts on 2/14. She was the race runner-up in both the 5K and the mile.
Saint Mary's sophomore
Mya Slavin (St. Charles, Minn. / St. Charles) set new program records in the 1K and 3K this month. Her 3K time of 10:20.58 at the SDSU Indoor Classic on 2/13 represents a new program-best, as does her 1K time of 2:58.84. Both records had stood for more than two decades.
St. Olaf senior
Ashlyn Jore (Prior Lake, Minn. / Prior Lake) broke a four-decades-old school record in the long jump with a winning mark of 5.63 meters (18' 5.75") at the Ole Opener on 1/17. Jore was also one one-hundredth of a second off the program's 60-meter record with a first-place time of 8.04 in finals.
St. Scholastica senior
Ella Stritesky (Rogers, Minn. / Rogers) won the weight throw with a mark of 16.54 meters (54' 3.25") at the CSB/SJU Alumni Meet on 124. That mark is the fourth-best in CSS program history. Stritesky has won the event in three of her last four meets.
