WOODBURY, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University golf team finished round one of the annual St. Kate's Fall Invite at Eagle Valley Golf Course. After the first 18, the Wildcats are in fourth place as a team shooting 309 led by sophomore
Caylin Cantwell and first-year
Raquel Ahrens.
Cantwell finished the front nine two under with three birdies to finish the day at three over par tied for ninth. Ahrens is also tied for ninth shooting 75 (+3) with eleven pars and one birdie.
Rookie
Arivia DeBoer carded a round of 78 (+6) while senior
Lolla Magrann made up the team score shooting 81 (+9), good for 39th.
Playing as an individual this tournament was
Sydney Dodds shooting 80 (+8) along with
Kali Hanson who finished with a ten-over par 82. The final golfer in the round for St. Kate's was
Emma Dobbins finishing with a round of 84 (+12).
Dobbins is off the tee first for St. Kate's at noon with the second round being played at Braemer Golf Course in Edina, Minnesota.
