DESTIN, Fla. -- The No. 8 ranked St. Catherine University golf team finished the first round of the Golfweek October Classic at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort with a team score of 304 (+16) lead by sophomore Grace Petzold. 

Petzold's one under par round of 71 included four birdies and eleven pars as she's tied for fourth individually. Behind Petzold is senior Kyra Venne, who also carded four birdies for a round of 75 (+3) tied for 31st. 

Senior Paige Hillman followed suite with four birdies in her round of 78 (+6) while senior Morgan Anderson rounded out the team score shooting 80 (+8). Macey Martin is also in the line up for the 54-hole tournament shooting a ten over par 82. 

Martin is off the tee first for St. Kate's at 7:35 am ET followed by Anderson, Hillman, Venne and Petzold.
