ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University soccer team dropped a back and forth battle to the visiting Loras College Duhawks on Saturday falling 4-3.
Loras struck first with a goal in the first five minutes of play to hold the advantage until the 40th minute of play. Rookie
Briana Henaman added St. Kate's first goal of the contest for her third of her debut year and tying it at the half 1-1.
The Duhawks added their second goal at 49:15 into the second half before senior
Amanda Elton knotted it up again at 61:19. Loras took the one goal lead again with less than 15 minutes remaining just ahead of junior
Kallie Tuominen's first goal in the purple and goal. Tuominen's goal was assisted by Elton in the 79th minute of play.
Just over a minute later, Loras scored the game-winner for the 4-3 final.

Ari Green led the shot count for St. Kate's each adding two shots on goal.
St. Kate's is home again on Tuesday hosting non-conference foe, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire at 4 pm.
