EAU CLAIRE, Wis. -- The St. Catherine volleyball team lost 3-0 to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in their first match of the Sandy Schumacher Memorial Tournament hosted by the Blugold on Friday evening.

Lauren Isaacson and Maggie Rosen played led the way with seven kills a piece. Rosen only needed 14 attack attempts to get her seven kills hitting .286. 

Defensively, Julia Weiler led the way with eleven digs for the Wildcats leading the team this season with 111 total after just eleven matches. 

St. Kate's will play two matches on Saturday starting off with an early 9:30 am match at Eau Claire against the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Their second match is set for 1:30 pm facing St. Norbert College from Green Bay, Wis. The Wildcats have not played either team since the fall of 2015.
