2021: Played in 22 matches for the Wildcats recording 104 kills, 25 blocks and two assists. 

2019: Skar appeared in 22 matches as a rookie starting 11. She tallied 54 kills in her debut season with a season-high 8 kills against Northwestern-St. Paul on September 17 She was also St. Catherine University Civic Engagement Collective Fellow during her first-year.

High School: As the starting right side hitter for three seasons, Skar was the team's co-captain her senior season. Earning many honors off the court for academic and volunteer service, Skar also was named the 2017 team MVP after finishing her junior year with 316 kills.

Personal: Daughter of Amy Kranig and Tom Skar. She is studying Political Science, Public Policy, and Economics and is earning a minor in Spanish at St. Catherine. She is a volleyball representative for WSAAC.She is a member of Christian Katies, the Political Science Club, OAKS, and was an intern in the CSJ Justice Office for the 2021-22 academic year. She also helped establish The Hidden Opponent initiative at St. Kate's and is a programs and operations intern for the Ann Bancroft Foundation.

Why did you choose St. Catherine?: I chose St. Kate's because of the welcoming atmosphere, the empowering environment in the classroom as an all women's institution, and the opportunity to play collegiate volleyball while receiving a quality education.

What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Kate's?: I enjoy growing as an individual both on and off the court. St. Kate’s gives me the opportunity to pursue all of my passions and be pushed to examine the world around me differently. The department is a truly welcoming place where I’m encouraged to grow and set up to thrive as a student athlete.
