SEWANEE, Tenn. -- The St. Catherine golf team secured another dual match victory over Sewanee, The University of the South on Saturday afternoon claiming the top-four individual finishes. Senior
Jordan Amelon was the top finisher on Saturday just three strokes over par for a season-best score of 75 (+3). Amelon and the balance of the Wildcats improved from Friday's round by nine strokes for a 310-337 victory over the Tigers. The Wildcats' round of 310 is tied for the fifth best team score in program history.
Sophomore
Sydney Brown finished second overall on Saturday shaving one stroke from Friday's round carding a season best 76 (+4). Junior
Kate Taylor improved four strokes from Friday for the third lowest finish shooting 77 (+5) and
Sydney Brandt tallied her season-low round finishing fourth with a score of 80 (+9).
Dasha Parker finished the day tied for sixth shooting 82 (+10) with a four-stroke improvement on Saturday. First-year
Jaycee Rhodes finished tied in eighth place at plus-eleven carding an 83. Fellow rookies
Jessica Loera finished tied for tenth again on Saturday with an 86 (+14) while
Katie Reeves and
Bella Stender both shot 93 (+21) to tie at 15. Sophomore
Rachael Wolfe was just one stroke behind shooting a 94 (+22) and tied in 17th.
St. Catherine returns to Emerald Greens Golf Course Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Preview.
