ST. PAUL, Minn. – The St. Catherine University women's golf team turned in another strong round, highlighted by four Wildcats shooting in the 70s. Raquel Ahrens led the way with a two-over-par 74, while Caylin Cantwell and Arivia DeBoer each carded rounds of 76.
Ahrens paced the Wildcats with three birdies, recording a one-under-par 36 on the front nine before finishing with a 74. She collected birdies on the first, ninth and 18th holes and sits in fifth place overall at three-over par.
Cantwell, who sits tied for second individually at one-over par, followed with a four-over-par 76. She recorded a birdie on the second hole and posted matching scores of 38 on the front and back nine.
DeBoer matched Cantwell's 76, recording three birdies throughout her round. She carded a 38 on each nine, highlighted by birdies on the second, seventh and 18th holes. Elle Schweim rounded out the Wildcats' top four with a six-over-par 78, including an impressive two-over-par 37 on the back nine.
Sydney Dodds added an 81, while Emma Dobbins and Lexi Napuli competed individually, posting rounds of 81 and 82, respectively. Napuli recorded birdies on the second and 18th holes, while Dobbins closed out her round with a birdie on the par-five 18th. Kali Hanson also competed individually, shooting an 89 and highlighting her round with a birdie on the par-three eighth hole.
The Wildcats' four lowest scores combined for a team round of 304, with Ahrens, Cantwell, DeBoer and Schweim all breaking 80.
