Wildcats win dual match over Sewanee

SEWANEE, Tenn. -- Sydney Brown carded a 77 (+5) to claim a piece of medalist honors against Sewanee, The University of the South. Brown paced St. Kate's to a 319-322 victory over the Tigers on Friday afternoon at The Course at Sewanee. 

Senior Jordan Amelon finished tied for third shooting 79 (+7) and junior Kate Taylor was tied at fifth with an 81 (+9). Junior Sydney Brandt and rookie Jaycee Rhodes completed the round in a three-way tie at seventh each shooting 82 (+10) to make up the team's score of 319. 

First-year Jessica Loera recorded a two-shot improvement from her last round finishing tenth with an 83 (+11). Sophomore Dasha Parker and first-year Bella Stender wrapped up the day also in a three-way tie for 12th tallying an 86 (+14). First-year Katie Reeves finished 16th with an 88 (+16) and sophomore Rachael Wolfe finished t-17th shooting 91 (+19).
