The rookie swimmer set program records in all four individual events she competed in at her first conference championship. Menso ranks No. 1 in Division III  in the 1650 free this season with her mark of 16:47.83, which was an nearly 30 seconds ahead of the next finisher. Menso also ranks No. 2 in the nation for her 500 free time, both of which events she set program, meet, and conference records in. The first-year also led her team to three first place relay finishes over the four-day championship. This is her second time this season she has received the Fleur-de-lis award.
