WATERLOO, Iowa -- The No. 40 ranked St. Catherine University golf team opened the spring season at the Upper Iowa Spring Invite in Waterloo, Iowa finishing second out of ten teams. The first round was canceled on Friday due to inclement weather as St. Kate's finished +39 led by
Arivia DeBoer and
Caylin Cantwell tied for third individually.
DeBoer and Cantwell carded 79 (+7) just two strokes behind the tournament leader.
Raquel Ahrens was next from St. Catherine with a round of 82 (+10), good for 12th place.
Emma Dobbins shot +15 finishing 23rd with an 87 and rounding out the team score of 327.
Individual
Sydney Dodds tallied a round of 86 (+14) while
Lolla Magrann shot 89 (+17) and
Kali Hanson finished with a round of 90 (+18).
The Wildcats return to action on Monday, April 13 as they travel to Iowa again appearing in the Mount Mercy University (NAIA) tournament in Coralville.
