CORALVILLE, Iowa -- The St. Catherine University golf team claimed their first team title of the spring at the Mount Mercy Spring Invite in Coralville, Iowa. The Wildcats finished with a 36-hole team score of 634, 12 strokes ahead of tournament host, Mount Mercy.
Sophomore
Caylin Cantwell repeated her first one shooting 74 (+2) on Tuesday finishing second overall individually. Senior
Lolla Magrann also carded the same score as round one with a five over par 77 coming in third overall for her highest collegiate placing.
First-year
Raquel Ahrens shaved seven strokes from her round one score shooting 80 (+8) moving up eight places tied for 10th overall.
The biggest improvement from round one belonged to
Emma Dobbins improving ten strokes on Tuesday to finish T13 after shooting 79 (+7).
Arivia DeBoer also improved by one stroke finishing 18th with a second day round of 85 (+13).
Individual
Sydney Dodds improved by three strokes shooting 87 (+15) to tie for 27th and
Kali Hanson shaved four strokes off for a round of 93 (+21).
St. Kate's competes again Saturday and Sunday in the Bethel University Rumble at the Ridge Tournament hosted at Oneka Ridge Golf Course in White Bear Lake, Minnesota.
