NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University indoor track & field team closed out the regular season competing in the Tostrud Classic at St. Olaf College on Friday.
In the middle-distance events,
Miranda Kerndt posted a season best in the 800m finishing in 3:02.41.
Kaitlyn Peterson followed with a PR in the 1000m crossing in 3:31.17, while
Mist Sit continued her strong season with a PR time of 5:45.63 in the mile.
The Wildcats also saw progress in the longer distances.
Felicity Lamb recorded a PR in the 3000m with a time of 12:44.80.
Lydia Feldhahn highlighted the distance group with a standout performance in the 5000m, finishing fourth overall in 19:29.07, a PR and the 10th best time in program history.
In the field events,
Maggie Lewandowski led the Wildcat throws group with a 9.48m mark in the shot put and a strong showing in the weight throw, placing seventh with a throw of 13.37m, ranking her 8th all time.
Alehsha Rentz added marked of 9.14m in shot put and 8.67m in the weight throw.
The Wildcats will return to Northfield next week for the 2026 MIAC Indoor Track & Field Championships at Carleton College Friday and Saturday.
