MANKATO, Minn. -- St. Catherine University indoor track and field opened the March Schuck Open on Friday with solid performances across distance and field events on Friday at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
In the 3,000 meter run, sophomore
Mist Sit delivered a standout run, clocking a personal-best time of 11:36.06 to finish 31st overall. Fellow Wildcat
Felicity Lamb followed with a time of 13:00.60, finishing 41st in the event.
The Wildcats also competed in weight throw on Friday.
Maggie Lewandowski recorded a mark of 12.73 meters, earning a seventh-place finish. First-year
Alehsha Rentz continued an impressive rookie campaign, posting a PR throw of 9.31 meters finishing 10th in the field.
Competition continues on Saturday in Mankato with
Kaitlyn Peterson and
Miranda Kerndt competing in the 800-meter run and
Eleanor Lindeman and
Lydia Feldhahn appearing in the 5,000 meter run. First-year
Kristin Siebsen will compete in the high jump while Lewandowski and Rentz are entered in the shot put.
