ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University track and field team had a record day with four PR performances along with multiple debut events for the young squad.
First-year
Eleanor Lindeman finished the 3K with a PR time of 10:41.24 to finish fourth in the event. Lindeman's time topped the former meet record of 10:45.21 and earned her the 4th best finish on the program's all-time performance list. Sophomore
Mist Sit clocked a time of 11:40.16 for a 17th place finish and first-year
Lydia Feldhahn was in at 11:55.93, good for 23rd and a PR time.
Junior
Kaitlyn Peterson led the Wildcats in the mile with a PR time of 6:06.61, in 38th while
Felicity Lamb finished with a time of 6:26.01 in 51st and also a PR mark.
Miranda Kerndt also appeared in the mile finishing with a time of 7:00.95 in 53rd.
First-year
Kristin Siebsen made her collegiate debut in the high jump recording a 14th place mark of 1.30m. Also making her collegiate debut was Alesha Rentz with a 32nd finish in the shot put at 8.73m and coming in 38th in the weight throw with a mark of 8.59m.
Maggie Lewandowski joined Rentz in the shot put finishing 20th at 9.81m and the weight throw coming in 19th with a mark of 12.53m.
The Wildcats compete again on Friday, January 30 and Saturday, January 31 traveling to Mankato for the Mark Schuck Open hosted at Minnesota State University, Makato.
