WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- The St. Catherine University golf team concluded their historic season at the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships on Friday. The team finished 14th overall with a 72-hole team score of 1,221 led by senior
Kyra Venne finishing 17th individually.
Venne carded a team-best round of 73 (+1) on Friday to conclude her final round of collegiate golf.
After 72-holes, Venne was nine over par while tallying nine birdies with 46 pars.
Sophomore
Grace Petzold was two over on Friday to round out her four-day stroke total to +14. Petzold finished 50th individually with six birdies in 72-holes and a one-stroke improvement from her rookie year performance.
Senior
Paige Hillman wrapped up her career with a final round score of 78 (+6). After four rounds, Hillman carried a score of 17-over par with eight birdies and finished 72nd.
Also playing in their final collegiate round was
Morgan Anderson shooting 83 (+11) on Friday for an overall championship score of +29. Anderson's performance was two strokes more than her 2024 score.
The final golfer for the Wildcats was rookie
Caylin Cantwell shooting 86 (+14) in her last round of the season. Cantwell finished the 72-holes with a stroke total over plus 44.
