WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- The St. Catherine University golf team's second round of the 2025 NCAA Women's Golf Championships was delayed again on Wednesday after inclement weather.
After completing the first round on Wednesday morning, the Wildcats were in ninth place with a round of 308 led by senior
Kyra Venne with an even par round and a fifth place standing.
Sophomore
Grace Petzold finished the first round with a two over par 74 while
Paige Hillman shot 80 (+8). Senior
Morgan Anderson carded a round of 82 (+10) and rookie
Caylin Cantwell was 13 over par shooting 85 (+13).
Round two included another day of delays with the Wildcats unable to finish. Cantwell made it through 13 holes at ten over par. Anderson is through twelve holes shooting one over par and Hillman is also at one over par through eleven. Petzold was able to complete eleven at seven over while Venne sits at seven over after ten holes completed.
Round two will commence at 8 am ET with the third round starting no later than 12:30 pm with a shotgun start.
