MENOMONIE, Wis. -- The St. Catherine University volleyball team traveled to the University of Wisconsin-Stout on Wednesday evening for a non-conference border battle with the Blue Devils. St. Kate's swept UW-Stout 3-0 extending their win streak to four with an early season record of 4-1.
Emily Bredman led the Wildcats with nine kills with an attack percentage of .727 and two blocks.
Madison Fagan followed with eight kills plus one block hitting .583.

Liz Rosen recorded six kills added to Rosen's team best 13 digs combining for 13.5 points.
In the first set, both teams were plagued by service errors aside. However, Bredman and Rosen showed their offensive skills multiple kills plus one service ace taking the first set 25-19. Set two resulted again in a 25-19 win for the Wildcats building a five point cushion midway through the set. The Blue Devils were able to rally back getting within three before St. Kate's ran away with it making it 2-0. The third and final set went back and forth with staying within two points on both sides of the court. St. Kate's was able to capitalize with Rosen at the service line with four consecutive points to claim the match.
The Wildcats' travel to Oshkosh, Wisconsin for four matches over the weekend taking on Lakeland University and North Central College on Friday and Aurora Univeristy and UW-Stevens Point Saturday.
