2024: As a first-year, Pruess competed in 28 matches playing 99 sets. She recorded 410 assists with 26 aces and 205 digs. 

High School: Preuss comes to St. Kate's after an impressive high school career at Elk River and with Crossfire volleyball club. She earned All-Conference honors in her senior season while serving as team captain and was named All-Conference Honorable Mention as a junior. She was on the 2023 AVCA All American watch list while making the 2022 and 2023 JVA watch list. In 2022 she was on the 2022 AVCA Phenom watch list and earned the 2022 AAU Volleyball Nationals Academic All-American Award. She was also a member of National Honors Society at Elk River High School and plans to pursue a degree in nursing at St. Kate's.

Personal: Daughter of Chad and Karla Pruess. Plans to pursue a nursing degree at St. Kate's. 

Why I chose St. Kate's: St. Kate's offers the academic, as well the athletic aspects of what I was looking for in a college. They offer a strong nursing school and a competitive volleyball program, and an overall great community.

What I like best about being a student-athlete at St. Catherine: Being a student-athlete at St. Kate's gives me the chance to experience new things and meet new people, and overall opens me up to so many opportunities.
