ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Catherine volleyball team dropped their first Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) match of the season falling in five sets to the visiting Concordia College Cobbers in
Butler Center on Friday evening.

Maggie Rosen tallied a career-high 16 kills in the match with an attack percentage of .237 followed by rookies
Liz Rosen and
Tiff Tellez each contributing nine. Junior libero
Claire Segner tied her career-best in digs with 28 in five sets.
St. Catherine dropped the first set to the Cobbers 25-17 before taking the second two sets from Concordia. The Wildcats rallied back in the second set with a 25-22 victory followed by claiming set three 25-23.
The Cobbers went on to win the match edging out the Wildcats in set four 25-18 followed by the clinching set of 15-8.
The Wildcats return are back on the court Saturday traveling to Saint Mary's University in Winona for a 5 pm conference match.
