DULUTH, Minn. -- Head St. Catherine University softball coach,
Colleen Powers secured her 200th career win on Saturday leading her team to a doubleheader sweep of Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) opponent, the College of St. Scholastica. Powers holds a career record of 201-11 in nine seasons and is the record for most wins in program history. St. Kate's maintained their unbeaten streak over the Saints to improve to 12-8 overall and 5-1 in the MIAC.

Alyssa Montero led the Wildcats to a two-run victory over the Saints in game one as Montero hit a double to right-center in the top of the third to put St. Kate's on the board bringing junior

Julia Azure put up a sacrifice fly to bring first-year
Serena Lee in for the second run of the game in the top of the seventh.
Montero was in the circle claiming her sixth win of the season with ten strikeouts and allowing just four hits.

St. Kate's came from behind in game two for the conference sweep as Montero got things started again in the top of the sixth to bring senior
Alex Ehde home for the tying run. The Wildcats scored the game-winning run in the top of the eighth inning as sophomore Kaitlyn Boyles RBI brought in Brunn for the win.
Senior
Annabelle Schutte claimed the win in the circle in game two with three strikeouts and just one run.
St. Kate's is home on Sunday hosting Macalester at 1 and 3 pm.
