2021: Montero appeared 33 games as a sophomore recording 17 runs, two homers, six doubles and 18 RBI. She appeared in the circle for 17 innings collecting eleven strikeouts. 

2019-20: Montero appeared in all ten games during her rookie season tallying four runs on seven hits, with two doubles and one triple. The right-handed pitcher appeared in the circle five times allowing eight runs and striking out nine batters. She recorded a 1.88 ERA pitching 12.2 innings. She earned Dean's List honors in spring 2020.

High School: Montero received All-Conference Honorable Mention in 2016, All-Conference in 2017, 2018, and 2019, All-Section in 2017, and All-State in 2018. Montero was named team captain in 2019, and was a member of the National Honor Society in 2018 and 2019. 

Personal: Montero is the daughter of Rick and Julie Montero. Montero's older sister, Amber played for the Wildcats from 2016-2020. Montero is a biology major and chemistry minor at St. Kate's.

I chose St. Kate’s because:  I really love the campus, it is close to home, and the softball program here is amazing.

What I enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Catherine is: Getting the opportunity to play the game I love with my teammates while also getting a great education to prepare me for my future.
