ROCHESTER, Minn. – St. Kate's softball went one and one on Saturday handily defeating Grinnell College 13-2 before falling to St. Olaf College 9-1. The Wildcats are now 3-3 on the season returning to the Rochester Dome Sunday to face Grinnell and Concordia University-Wisconsin.
GAME ONE | St. Catherine 13, Grinnell 2
St. Catherine scored 13 unanswered runs over Grinnell in the Wildcats' first game Saturday. The Pioneers scored a run in the bottom of the first and second innings but were scoreless the remainder of the contest leaving five on base after their second run.

Taylor Brunn in before Kaitlin Boyles had a two-run double to left-center.
The Wildcats added one in the top of the fourth and scored three unearned runs in the fifth to go up 8-2. St. Kate's closed out the game scoring five more runs in the top of the sixth for a final of 13-2.
Ehde was 3 for 4 with 4 RBI and one run and Huepfel went 3 for 4 with 3 RBI and one run. Brunn hit 2 for 4 with four runs and 2 RBI and
Shannon Leahy went 1 for 3 with 3 runs.
Senior
Annabelle Schutte claimed the win for St. Kate's with four strikeouts allowing two runs off of six hits.
Leah Weiss tallied two strikeouts finishing the game in the circle.
GAME TWO | St. Olaf 9, St. Catherine 1
St. Kate's fell to St. Olaf in a non-conference matching in the Wildcats second game inside of the Rochester Dome on Saturday.
The Wildcats struggled at the plate getting just seven hits off of 26 at-bats in seven innings. The Oles were on the board first taking a 3-0 lead after the third. St. Kate's held off St. Olaf until their six-run in the top of the seventh.
Azure scored the Wildcats' lone run off of Brunn's single to center field.
Junior
Alyssa Montero took the loss in the circle pitching 6.1 innings allowing 12 hits and eight runs with two strikeouts. Weiss pitched the remainder of the inning allowing one run
