ARDEN HILLS, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University soccer team improved to 6-3-2 on the season with a 1-0 defeat at Bethel University on Wednesday. With the win, St. Kate's is now 3-1-1 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) with six conference games remaining on the schedule.
The Wildcats goal was scored by fifth-year
Lauren Witte in the 50th minute of play assisted by junior
Ari Green and sophomore
Sydney Nelson. Witte's fifth goal of the season ranks her second on the team this season as well as second all-time in program history. Witte also led the shot count on Wednesday with six shots total and four on net.
