HASTINGS, Minn. -- St. Catherine golf finished the Division III Classic at Emerald Greens Golf Course in a three-way tie for third place shooting a 36-hole team score of 633 (+57). The Wildcats improved three strokes in the second round led by
Kate Taylor finishing seventh overall.
Taylor improved four strokes from the first round with a 3 over par 75 on Sunday for a two-day total of 154 (+10). Rookie
Greta McArthur moved into 17th place with eight others including three teammates. McAthur was plus six for a 78 with the team's third-lowest round on Sunday.
The other three Wildcats finishing T17th were junior
Dasha Parker and rookie
Morgan Anderson each shooting 80 (+8) again in the second round and sophomore
Jaycee Rhodes carding an 85 (+13).
Senior
Sydney Brandt shaved nine strokes from the first round for a 77 (+5) to finish T38th with a two-day total of 163. Sophomore
Katie Reeves was just behind Brandt at 164 shooting a 82-82 (+20) along with sophomore
Jessica Loera who shot an 85 (+13) on Sunday. Rookie
Kyra Venne rounded out the Wildcats finishing T59th shooting a 36-hole score of 167 (+23).
St. Kate's returns to play on Saturday hosting a two-day tournament at Oak Glen Golf Course in Stillwater, Minnesota.
