ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Sophomore goaltender, Abby Severson posted 44 saves in the Wildcats, 1-0 loss to Gustavus Adolphus on Saturday afternoon. Severson allowed just one goal at the end of the first period. 

Gustavus outshot St. Kate's in all three periods as St. Kate's tallied just five shots in the game. Despite the low shot count for the purple and gold, the Wildcats held the Gusties off through three power play opportunities and 40 minutes of play. 

St. Kate's travels to Hamline for game one of the conference series on Friday with the puck drop scheduled for 7 pm. The Wildcats return to Drake Arena on Saturday for the second game against Hamline at 2 pm.
